M-103 Three-Phase Power/Energy Calibrator

Three-phase power/energy calibrator M-103 is generator of accurate AC three-phase voltage and current with calibrated phase shiftamong signals. It contains three voltage and three current channels, which phase shift each of them against others can be set in rango 0 to 360o. Output voltage can be set in two ranges up to 240 V and output current in three ranges up to 10 A. Power in each phase can be set independently. Frequency covers range from 40 Hz to 400 Hz and can be set with resolution 0.01 Hz. Calibrator has very good long life amplitude stability and low distortion which enable calibration of power meters with average, RMS or peak value indication.

Calibrator is equipped with 5 1/2 digital DC meter with DC ranges 20 mA and 10 V and pulse counting for direct calibration of various types of power transducers.

Calibrator is suitable for calibration of digital and analogue power meters, energy meters, PF meters, power transducers and others.

Accuracy of AC power generated by the calibrator depends on actually set voltage, current and power factor. It is calculated by calibrator and is displayed on the front panel display. Accuracy is calculated according to following formula:

Effective power dP = dU + dI + dPF
Reactive power dP = dU + dI + dPF*
Appearent power dP = dU + dI

where
dP is uncertainty of power [%]
dU is uncertainty of set voltage value [%]
dI is uncertainty of set current value [%]
dPF is uncertainty of set PF value (cos) [%]
dPF* is uncertainty of sinj [%]
